Together with their staff, Eric and Joclynn have created an environment that embodies imaginative and active experiences, not only for the special needs child, but also for their families. Their programs are designed according to the developmental needs of each child. They use play to motivate the child’s willingness to participate, improve listening skills and raise self-esteem.
Eric and Joclynn met in Los Angeles when they began working for a company that worked with children with special needs. They were both quickly promoted to Program Directors and began expanding the company throughout Southern California, and eventually across state lines.
Simultaneously, Joclynn began designing a program that was developmentally age-appropriate for children and would help expand their athletic abilities.
Is Leaps…n…Boundz a dream come true? Yes it is! It’s a place where special needs children and their families are nurtured and strengthened everyday. It’s a “community” where children achieve success daily while inspiring the staff and their parents.
When we began, we wanted our program to be a full service program. A program that would help kids reach beyond their potential, a program that would include the entire family and challenge them to look “beyond the boundaries” that are often placed on their children. Leaps…n…Boundz is giving their staff the perfect opportunity to give back and pass along the wonderful, imaginative and active experiences they have each experienced.
Leaps…n…Boundz utilizes a network of trained specialists in Child Development, Occupational Therapy and Recreational Instruction. Their goal is simple; They want to hear hundreds of children smile and yell, “I did it! I did it!”
