Please join us as we team up with the Children’s Nature Institute in offering 2 fun events!

March 13, 2010 from 12:30pm-3:00pm for a Nature Walk & Beach Clean-Up at Malibu State Beach.  There will be age-appropriate trail activities and hands-on investigation as we explore the unique attributes of this amazing lagoon while also learning about its birds, sea life, plants and history.  We will also spend time picking up the liter that doesn’t belong and learn why its important to feel connected and committed to preserving nature.

April 3, 2010 from 9:30am-12:00noon

 for a Nature Walk and Butterfly Garden Watering Party at Griffith Park’s Fern Canyon Trail.  This will be yet another fun filled morning of nature exploration & hiking!  In addition to learning about the local flora and fauna through hands-on activities we will also fill and carry buckets of water on the trail to bring to the Butterfly Garden.  This is in an effort to restore the nature trail after it was badly damaged in the 2007 fire.

We hope that you can join us on these wonderful excursions.

Participant cost is a $10 donation (funds collected will be donated to the New Leaps…n…Boundz Foundation)
