Geni E. King

Geni has an extensive educational background.  But it’s her passion that you feel when you talk to her about her work which she describes as “fundamentally about human potential.

When Geni is asked to work with a child diagnosed with autism, or a singer whose voice has lost musicality and must retrain the voice, or to a man, woman or child struggling with dyslexia, which is an auditory processing disorder, her goals are to create a sound diet that is specific to the individual’s needs based on history, the initial assessment and the personal goals of each client.

Geni uses the Tomatis program which begins a journey that is about finding beginnings, presence and potential through sound, voice and movement.  Learning that the auditory system is as profound and deep “a body part” as the brain is to the mind or the heart to life, joy and relationships makes Geni feels that her work is sacred ground.
