Jamie Hoffman
When asked in a UCLA Today interview about what she did for a living, Jamie answered, “I get paid to play.”
Jamie sees proof every day that people with disabilities can do all types of things. She won’t allow anyone to discuss boundaries or fears. It’s called Adaptive Recreation and Jamie’s prides herself on finding a way “to figure it out.”
She has an undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a Masters in Recreation and Sports Management.
Her background as the director of UCLA’s Adaptive Recreation Program has given her the opportunity to successfully create challenges for those with disabilities regardless of the physical or neurological disability.
